great info but, the vacuum lines which passes near the battery goes to the vacuum ball which is located under the battery.

even if the line is open and disconnected from the ball, the car wont give that type of problems....it will give problem on higher speed tho causing the a/c blower to shift from front to bottom but, wont cause any serius problems like the one he is facing.

i had my vacuum line disconnected for months from near the battery and it took me a while to fix it...but, even with a brocken vacuum, i was not facing this type of idel issues.
