the mods you want come farther down the road...dont bother replacing internals unless you're gonna go forced induction.
maybe swap a head entirely for a DOHC, or a ported and polished intake manifold with bigger throttle body...but thats even after an intake, header, exhaust, and underdrive pullies.
i have a 1992 F22a non-Vtec (type S) with an AEM Custom Short-Ram Intake, Ractive 4-2-1 Header, Pacesetter MONZA Exhaust, Accel Spark Plug Wires, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, RC Fuel Injectors, Arospeed Fuel Pressure Regulator, Weapon R Throttle Rotor, MSD SCI+ Ignition Control
MSD Blaster SS Coil, MSD ProCap...and all these still havent gotten her to the point of the H22 Vtec...so save your money and do the swap and then start building the engine.
