Why would he want to swap a 3.8 for a 3.8??? If you want to swap in a V8 Lt1 or LS1 are both options. It is a spendy thing to do though and if you want it done like right now don't hold your breath it's gonna take some time. Also, if you love the handling you're gonna have to do some work to the drivetain and suspension after the swap to a V8 since the added weight in front is gonna be too much for the suspension and it's gonna handle like shit unless you do something.
