Hi Mike,
You won't need to check the fuse if the compressor is working, but do have a look at the control unit mounted on the underside of the floor (driver's side) immediately above the rear axle. See if the linkage is free and check the harness connections. Unplug and replug to see if it was a bad connection to the leveler, OK?
