Yes, definitely... The entire assembly is plastic. The lens should have been glass, I would think.
And those damn metal clips that have to lift upwards to take out the assembly; those are a nightmare to back in because everyhing has to align up properly for it all to fit.
I'll bet that even a pontiac service tech comments about that GM design.
I did some limited searching on some websites tonight, and I did locate some aftermarket stuff. Even those were running around $ 88.50 apiece for the assembly.
I'll search some more tomorrow; gotta hit the sheets here now and get up early tomorrow.
