and i found out one think also that i forgot to mention. when i try to turn it of w/ the power buttion on the unit the screen flashes "ATT" and doesn't turn off but the power is lower until i turn it back on. i looked in a manual online for troubleshooting but it doesn't list anything. and she don't have a manual because it was a shelf model.... uhhh
if it can't be fixed its fine w/ me. its not my radio lol

look for a bad ground as the other guy say, now if u kept volume so high
maybe u overheated the output transistors and output not good anymore
and the att means uwhen u press off button u need to keep it pressed like 2 seconds before it turns off
