Time For A New Car

Hello,

This is my first time posting so I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Stephen and I just turned 16 and received my license. Well, unfortunately school is on the way and my parents are going to buy me a new car of my own and was hoping that you guys could possibly help.

I'm looking for a car that isn't more than a couple of years old, is fairly reliable, can be had for under or around $10,000, and gets decent gas mileage. With that said I know that most of you are probably wondering why I'm putting this under the Racing section (Moderators, if I did put this in the wrong section please feel free to move it.), I would eventually like to make it a fast car. It doesn't have to be something that's going to be beating Bugatti's and Ferrari's but I was hoping that it could be pretty quick. Anyways, I don't expect it to be like that at least for a couple of years. I know that even if I did get a fast car it probably would not be right for me since I have barely any driving experience.

With that said, do you guys have any recommendations for me? I've been looking at the Suzuki Aerio SX because I've heard that they have a decent AWD system which will probably be good for launches. Anyways, besides that I really don't have any idea of what I want. I don't really care the body styling but a sedan/wagon would probably be better as it won't kill me on insurance. So, what do you guys think would be good for me?

I'm sorry for such a long post guys and I'm sorry if you guys don't like this writing style (I know some forums don't like this although I found it kind of wierd.) and will be willing to change it if need be.

Anywho, thank you guys for all of your help in advance and I hope that I haven't upset anyone.
