I hate to get into pissing contests but this one is pretty good considering. Anyone like RW240 said SR's dont really get hot when running at RPM as long as proper cooling measures have been taken. And nobody said a SR20 would be able to beat A 700hp small block...but there are motors and cars out there that have the capabalities to "I believe" beat a Nascar...take for instance Skylines...in tuned mode can put out near 800 900hp...and just as reliably as a nascar motor...high reving already and with AWD...or even RWD if you prefer. I am not saying that Nascar doesnt have alot of technology out there...and yes i believe there are regular cars out there that can beat them...no one said a full interior'd car could do it...of course it would be stripped an roll caged just the same as a nascar...And as we have posted many examples JGTC cars could take alot of NASCARs...also look at cars that run the 24hour rolex race...vipers and Corvettes...reaching speeds of 200+ ect...ect...There are to many rules in Nascar...and yes it is to make it competitive...but how can the cars, and technology improve if they keep being taken back...and if one team is dominate it is obviously for a reason...so that team should be penalized becuase if found out something that works? Thats kinda B.S....anywho..i guess my rambling is done until something else is brought up...just remember...no one here to piss someone off...this is just a debate...and a damn good one...keep the debate goin...
