Looks like an awesome project! I can't give you any advice other than to try really really hard to match up the directions of the weave when piecing together a complicated part. Anyhow, the real stuff is sometimes made from several panels, so just worry about big areas where it will be really noticeable.

Oh, and it will be easier if you paint the body panels gloss black first, so any holes or tears will be mostly hidden.
