Taurus' just have bad trannys, it a sad fact of life, mine does the exact same thing (minus the in and out of OD) your best off to fix it, or start saving and drive it into the ground, my advise, if you give it a bit more gas while you accelerate then it tends to shift smoother, but other than a reabuild your out of luck sorry dude
