Yes, they are still in the air box, but they are much smaller than the 97-03s. I mounted mine where the box portion of the stock intake was located. I used tie wraps and works great. It doesnt even get that dirty sitting all open like that

Thanks for the info MikeS3. May come in handy if I ever decide to get an 04/05 GP but I'm leaning towards the new GTO. I test drove one and it was sweet.
