do not take it to a mechanic...if anything..try and find a back yard mech...a shop will only charge you an arm and a leg for something that could have been solved for 30 bucks or so...try and find a friend that works on cars and is very knowledgeable..or if your local highschool has a mechanics course...try and get them to look at it...they might do it for free since it would be learning at the same time..and you woudlnt have to worry about them doing something cuz the teacher wouldnt let them mess around when they dont know what they are doing and run the risk of having to pay for your cars damage..
