There is a difference between HP and bHP. Same thing would be true for measuring power in kW. The difference is that in Europe, power output of an engine is measured with all auxiliar devices mounted on the engine (1 HP = 1.36 kW). Break horse power is measured with some of those disconected, that means that you have some more power at the flywheel.
