91 Turbo Engine into 96 RS?

Hi, I need some help and advice as what i should do.

I'm thinking about getting a 96 Eclipse RS, and swapping the engine from my 91 turbo Talon into it.

The reason is because my 91 Talon is in pretty bad shape visually, the engine in this car is only 70k, but the interior and exterior isn't too pleasant.

The eclipse that I wil be purchasing is only $$600-1k, magna flow exhaust, the engine is only about 101K, the transmission is sitting in two seperate box. The interior is pretty good. A little tear on the driver front seat, a missing bottom panel from the center console, the plastic piece that cover the passenger air bag is warp from sitting in the heat too long(can be replace at local junk yard for cheap), light damage on the passenger front quarter panel(local junk yard too), a little hood damage and rust, need to be repaint.

So if i get the Eclipse RS will the tranny from my 91 Talon work in the RS. I want to use the gear box that come with the RS because the one in my Talon isn't shifting too smooth. My Budget for this is $$1-2k. I can get a mechanic to pull the engine and tranny from the Talon and put it in The RS for about $500. Repaint and bodykit will come later, I would keep the turbo stock(for now)

I also would like to know. What other part in my Talon can be salvage for the Eclipse in the future, since Mitsubishi are notorious for bad tranny?

I will update with pics of the RS later.
