SO... I'm back just briefly on a borrowed internet connection (thanks to some random community college with no computer security. gawd, I LOVE free connections) I've Barely posted much around here since I opened my Custom Automotive Shop. Just wanted to say hi and let everyone know how the shop's goin because I'm freakin excited about it's progress!!
We're getting a lot of attention around here and there hasn't been a shortage of business yet. I got one of the few local audio stores to merge with me and shut down their location so we could carry audio. Just opened up an audio installation bay and got a new very competent installer. Currently selling: DB Drive (BADASS!!!), Phoenix Gold and Kicker. I'm renovating the showroom again and am expecting to double showroom floor space by January (taking over the place next door). Putting in a sound wall and adding some showroom floor stock. I'll take pics when it's done so it looks all nice and pretty. I just spoke with the cable provider around here. We're probably going to advertize on TV by mid-late september. Got a nice newspaper review on us too! I got another location across town that's not open to the public and got a paint booth so we can spray better custom paint jobs. Making decent money for having just started, but putting it all back into the biz. Just got a brand new compressor, lift, and tool set. I'm working on a company tailgating van with floor-ceiling subwoofers, a kegerator, 7" LCD screens, and a BAD AASSSSS custom paint job to appeal to the college students (football tailgaiting is big around here. Next is a custom sport compact car, which I'm building the engine for now. We've got dozens of cars around here sporting our windshield and window vinyl. Can't keep the stuff on the shelves more than a week! I just ran up to a car show an hour away and the majority of SPCs were blazed with our vinyl. Honestly; I think we'll do fine. We're producing work and staying busy 25 hours a freaking day, 8 days a week. I think with decent advertizing we can really do well in this town. Anyways, figured I'd give you guys an update. I haven't regretted quitting my high-paying, very secure job once, even though I've got freaking ramen noodles coming out my god damned ears. Anyone in the Midwest area is more than welcome to stop by!
