After getting the car back from the body shop after a light frontal accident, we managed to get the engine started again. However it constantly displays "Restricted Performance" on the Message Screen. For several weeks the Mechanics did leave it out in the rain with the engine uncovered so water may have hit some sensors etc... Has anyone had this problem before? Is there anything I can do on my own? The car is a 1999 XJ8 L.
