This week was really busy so I haven't done much... but I added some parts to the gearbox and cleaned some more parts for the engine. I also primed the suspension parts and hopefully I am able to finish the rear shock absorbers in the next few days, stay tuned
In case you want to know which PE nuts I mainly use, here they are "Model Car Garage Nuts, Bolthead set". They are really great and the parts are much smaller than the ones from SMS.
Here's a comparison shot with 1 Cent (Euro), just to show you how tiny these are...
And 1 more shot from the gearbox! The valve cover isn't painted yet!!! And you can see the added weld line on the oil reservoir!
And the best thing of the week, I got the replacement parts from Tamiya on thursday
, so the next steps are finishing the rear dampers and then painting the valve covers (hopefully I won't mess them up this time
) + fuel rail etc....
