I got an '05 LT Aveo. Been getting 32 mpg fairly consistently, mostly freeway. But that's with the A/C cranked. Almost 2,000 miles on it now. Should be 4,000 miles by the end of next month.

The tire pressure seems to lower after use. The internet says it ships from the factory at 40 psi, the tires say max load psi of 44, and you're supposed to keep them at 30 psi. I checked mine when I first got it and the tires were like 35, 30, 28, 27, so I pumped them all to 35. I made a short trip to the store and back and checked them again. Most had settled down to 32 psi. Haven't checked them again since, but should.

That's with a bicycle pump with builtin gauge. Those cigarette lighter ones only go up to 30 psi, the spare is supposed to be 60 psi, so I've gotten accustomed to carrying a bicycle pump in my cars. Although mainly because when you finally need your spare, it's generally down to 10 psi. The bicycle pump takes about 40 pumps for every 10 psi, but gets the job done. And if you live in the country it can take 50 miles to find a gas station that has an air pump, much less one that actually works.
