Have you ever turbocharged a B16A, sir?

I happen to believe that you do not have any experience with this motor. Correct me if I am wrong. I ran a turbocharged B16A for 3 years. I built it after an injector o-ring broke, which was installer error...even after that, I ran it for another 7 months. I ran the car for about 20 months, daily driven, between 10-15psi.
9psi is an arbitrary number, and means different things from different turbochargers, therefore making it a pointless statement. A B16A can last just as long as ANY other motor, being driven daily well above 9psi. Trust me. I've done it...a lot...and so has every single other B16A I have ever seen, that was tuned correctly.
As I said before, you are being misled by improper tuning. If a shop told you, or someone else that the B16A blew because it was boosted more than 9psi, I would be willing to bet that, that was the shop that tuned the motor, and they fucked it up, and that is their cover. The B16A can last for years above 9psi...it's no secret. Please don't spread false rumors about this motor to prospective enthusiasts. The B16A is the best Honda motor to turbocharge, bar none. I don't mean to be jumpy against you, I just want you to understand that tuning is KEY, and that the B16A motor can last eons above and beyong 9psi.
