I personally have the neuspeed short throw in mine. It is a high quality piece hade of mard steel, unlike cheap aluminum Ebay knock offs. I Paid about $120 2 years ago, so the price has probably dropped. As far as the shift difference...night and day. The B16a's are notorious for grinding at high RPM's b/t 2nd and 3rd. After installing my nuespeed shifter, no more grinds. Another thing to note is that the neuspeed shifter comes with new polyurethane shifter stabalizer bushings. 1 for where the actual shift rod connects to the trans and onfor the rear stabilizer. Those bushings make a dramatic difference in shift feel. As far as how long my throw is, i would have to say it reduced it by about half. Perfect in my opinion.
