Well.... where to start... hmmm....

I want to say a V-8 should bolt right in, but you might need some brackets. This shouldn't be too big of a deal, someone is sure to make them, ask your engine builder or go see Ford Motorsport.

Next step is to find headers that fit, but again no big deal, refer to Motorsport or Summit Racing and you'll find a few different kinds.

The biggest hurdle will be the EEC unit which you need to salvage from a GT unless you go carburated.

In addition there will be a bunch of minor issues, like changing out the front springs, hood clearance (if you with something other than a 5.0).

The good news is that the GT and V-6 are almost the same except for the engine. You have an 8.8" rear and maybe even a T-5 transmission which can handle upto 350 HP easily.

One last word, all of this stuff adds up (obviously) and you might be better off selling the six pack and getting into a late model GT or Cobra.

Let us know how the project materializes! We love engine swaps!!
