just checked the rattle is coming from the door for sure, loose bolt or somthing? the sound inside the car when the volume is really high has some crackling or distortion is this just from bad tweeters or wut? If you're going with just 1 amp, get a 5 or 6 channel one. That way you get a channel per corner, plus one or two for the subs. BMW's are not easy car stereos to work with, especially if you don't have experience. I recommend that you have a professional install it for you. At the very least you will need the wiring diagram. Buy a Bentley service manual, the diagrams are in the back of the book.
