Shite, Sorry man. You can always take the fender off and drive it without. That won't look too good. This could be a good opportunity to mod. Like if you wanted Z3 fenders you can tell your dad to buy you a set.
It's his fault. Make sure you choose a real expensive set on ebay, if you do this. You get what you pay for. I got a set from my kit dealer and they are AWESOME. Best quality of any body part I have seen on ebay. Good luck with whatever you do.
