hiroboy did a tutorial on sanding down rims to fit pegasus sleeves. I'm thinking you could do the same. Just make sure to only sand down the front edge of the rim (i.e. much less than the thickness of the lip ) so that the lip has a nice little 'shelf' to sit on. So that it looks sort of the way the Aoshima rims do before the lip is put on. And once the lip is on, you can smooth out the entire rim+lip to fit on a 19" tire.

The thing is I don't want sand it down to a 19 inch rim size, I want to keep it the same size.
