I setlled on a GM certified (used) silverado recently. I found the dealerships around here to be "shifty" with the employee discount thing. Sure the $3k rebate was good, but then add options, warranty, bedliner, underbody spray (yeah right) then they would be back up to around regular price.
I thinks its all marketing mumbo jumbo. I would hate to be an employee and realize that you now get same treatment as average joe coming in to buy a vehicle

I am already hearing about "dealer pricing" where they show you the invoice and what they actually paid for the truck. I was LMAO.
