Replacing cabin pollen filter

I've read in other forums that to replace the cabin filter, you need to remove the glove box and then unscrew two 8 mm bolts, and then remove a factory installed plastic strip. Behind this strip is the filter.

Now, how do you remove the glove box?

Are the instructions to look underneath the glove box? There is a plastic housing/tray unit underneath that is secured to the dash with two 8 mm washer/bolts and two screws closer to the front. Do I need to loosen these up?

Thanks for clarifying. Why aren't any illustrations of this available for a guy with limited skills?
