Angry Ford GT

Yadda yadda yadda....Polar lights Ford GT in red. Blue to follow later on. This kit was a great build. Very recomended...is that right? w.e..It's 4:15am, I promished I'd finish this tonight to zoom zoom, but, he finished his 1st.

Stripped chrome, used testors metalizers aluminum buff on teh wheels. They were great all up untill i had to mount the tires..oh...I've never yelled at a model so much. The paint kept rubbing from the wheels to the tires. I was sanding the paint off, but that didn't work. Paint still all on the tires. So I just painted them flat black.

I used the vinyl top spray technique on the interior. Why? I wanted to produce a nice textured look. This was achieved with multiple mist passes with the spray.

I didn't notice the recomended paints in the instructions untill after I had finished...the instructions are just like 4 different blown up parts assemblies. Tiny also.
Colors: Ford engine blue on the camcovers, silver on the interior accent parts, buffing aluminum on the wheels, gloss aluminum on the engine block, titanium on the exhaust..seemed ok at the time, you can't see it really anyway. Flat black on the interior, and engine misc. parts.

Thanks ZoomZoom for getting me to actually finish a model in record time, and all the info adn such he has posted. Thanks man.

Older cousin.

Thanks,
Frank X.
