pretty easy, drag racers stretch the swing arm/ and lower it, and some include those small wheels on the back. it helps sending most power to the ground, the only wheelie happens is during launch. but when you start adding more horsepower, it gets harder to keep the front down.
generally, a bike with longer wheelbase is less prone to wheelie and has more stability, bikes with shorter wheelbase is more flickable.
I believe the RR and R6 has the shortest wheelbase of all sportbikes currently.
I'm guessing the guy who compressed his forks had to brake with the rear or took real long time braking. Because I don't see how you can brake at high speed with forks fully compressed and the front end doesn't tuck.
btw, Chunk, you can always wait until september/october to see what all the manufactures would unveil. Except for Suzuki and ZX-6R, they're all more or less up for redesigns/revisions.
