the car drives fine? could be a loose connection somewhere. check the infamous 2 white wires. did you reset the ECU? check for an open or short in the orange and white wires from ECU pins B10 & B12 to the distributor. measure resistance between pins B10 & B12 at the ECU. It should be 350-550 ohms. if not, you have open in one of the wires somewhere. if the resistance measures okay, check continuity between body ground and B10 - if you have continuity, you have a short somewhere in the orange wire. if all this shit checks out alright, check the cam timing. does the engine idle nice and smooth? if the injector impulses are off, it could possibly cause the code i guess, but thats pretty unlikely.
