Anything can be made to fit. It all comes down to money and time. How much do you have and how much are you willing to spend? At what point will it be worth it or not to you to have this done?
You will be money ahead having an LS1 engine bored and stroked and installing that. they fit just fine. LPaces liek D'agostino have the abilty to get big block cubes out of these engines.
Then, when your'e done you have a car that still has the same lightweight aluminum small block (better weight bias, handling and overall less weight), and is easier to work around since it takes less space. Not to mention parts wil lbe easier to find.
If you're insistent on the big block 4th gen, check out the 572 cid Z-28 built in the mid 90's by GM performance (one of their subdivisions). You could look through old Hot Rods or do a search online. they shoved a big block into a camaro and made it look production stock.
