You must have a defective Xterra.
The brake lights in my Xterra are 27 watts, just like every other brake light on every other vehicle sold in the USA. They are also just as bright as every other taillight out there, because 27 watts is 27 watts.
The reason I made my post is because you don't seem interested in anyones safety. Rear fogs are useful, if used correctly. You seem to want to use it to blind people behind you. Last month it was driving around with 6 bulbs burning up front blinding oncoming drivers.
First your headlights are too dark, now your tail lights... what's next ?
BTW, I've never seen a BMW with rear fog lights, or an Audi, or a Porsche, or a Saab. Exactly who is selling cars in America with rear fog lights ?
