Well designed tepmorary street courses are good for many reasons, but there is only one street course I can think of in the last 20 years that was more poorly designed than San Jose (Miami with ALMS, 1.1 miles and a jump comparable to the one in San Jose). The idea was good, as shown by the attendance, but the execution was terrible.
