POP Charger (I think) just helps with lowering the turbulence of the air going in, letting it flow easier. Also, gets rid of the restriction of the stock intake system, which has all these bends and kinks that, by their nature, impede the flow of air.
But, the POP charger does not get cold air. It gets its air from the engine compartment. The engine is hot, so the air is hot. It's still an improvement over stock, How much though? Probably very small amount, But it still looks cool.
A drawback for me to the full Cold Air Intake is I belleive you must do some cutting of the inner fender wall. But, for that effort you get *noticeable* HP gains.
As for price, well, ask Luke (G22DET in the forum), he can probabl set you up.
I'm still trying to decide what to do...POP or CAI, and then which manufacturer to go with.
