Driver's side fender well, it will be red. Mine's faded to a flamingo pink, being an older truck too - but it will just look like a loose wire hanging out there in space between the side of your ABS/brake booster assemly and the fender well. It will have a large, circular lug on it's end to facillitate jumping it to any 12v source, as long as it shares a ground with the truck. Have an assistant with you to listen for the 'whirrrr" of the pump in the tank. Since this test lug bypasses *everything* in the truck's electronic layout to power the pump, if the pump does not spin, you may have sucked in water and seized it up. If it spins, then I would wonder if you do have a little more water than usual in the tank. Also of note, change your rear differential oil. The breather for that is up against the belly of the truck and if you got stuck deep and long enough for the axles to cool, the rear diffy may be filled with water too.
