The engine was another shock, the new engine gets excellent gas mileage, but the real kicker was the great response and power, from stops and from a go there was good power and i found it easy to hit 100km/h without knowing due to the smooth and quiet ride.

All in all I'm very impressed with this car as it's roomy inside and excellent performance are really making me consider it highly recommend giving it a test drive it really changed my mind about Hyundai.

I agree. The new Sonata is a nice car. Some people don't like the looks of it, but personally I do. My wife doesn't though. She has an '03 LX, and puts almost 40k on it a year. Once she hits 100k next year, probably going to get one.
