I have the same problem. A/C was working and then about 2 weeks ago it began slipping the (a/c clutch) but it was blowing cold air until you gas the motor and then it goes HOT. Replaced the whole unit not touching anything but the compressor and the accumulator, vac'ed the system and plugged the high and low pressure and compressor back in and no wit keeps blowing fuses the 30 amp under in the hood. Weird thing is that the relay for the horn, tranny and a/c clutch are tied together. Seems to be a short I think. Please help.
