though Cradle of Filth isn't 'Roaarrr die motherfuckers BangBang' music, its black metal, and the base of death metal/black metal is iron maiden like bands, just look at the texts, its midieval, fantasy lyrics with no connection to reality. 'Die motherfuckers' music is more like Nasum, or Mastodon or whatever all that crap's called.. i believe the main reason u dont like cradle of filth then is the singing style.. still.. its not 1/100 as good as the real metal bands
