Check some hot rodding or drag racing magazines from 1964. Jack Chrisman had a Comet hardtop with a 427 in it. Kind of like an upscale Fairlane Thunderbolt except he also had a GMC blower on that engine. This was one of the precursors of the Funny Car.
With frame connectors, a cage or other body reinforcements and a 9 inch rear, this could be an awesome accelerating machine. Don't forget the traditional Ford fiberglass bubble hood!
