That's odd. The A/C should blow WARM air after full throttle accelleration, as the clutch normally disengages to reduce drag and comes back on when normal driving is resumed.

Maybe Chuck's right and you should have your freon checked. When freon is a little low it will cool well until outside temp and humidity go up.
