Why don't you believe his 14 mpg claim? I get 14 comined with my 9200 GVWR 6.0 HD with 4.10's driving like I want to. If his is a 8600 GVWR 2500 he's probably got 3.73's which should be netting AT LEAST 14 mpg. If I were getting 9/12, I'd sell it.
Bears, if you figure out a good may to boost your milage with your 6.0, let me know. They aren't known for their fuel economy...
