i'd get the straight pipe, and here's why

first off you wont mess up anything by eliminating your cat. In fact, i have 0 cats on my car and originally started with 2 precats and a main cat. Also, the straight pipe will give you less backpressure and better flow for more power.

If your state does not have emissions, you dont have anything at all to worry about as far as the straight pipe goes.

If your state has emissions, then you just simply need to make sure its a straight pipe you can bolt on the car and unbolt, so then you keep your cat and when its time for testing, all you do is switch the cat back on and then pull it back off after you pass your test.
