Haha. Nahh! Line the dots up on the timing gears, and then set the time revving the engine to about 4 grand and on 40 degrees advance. Adjust the valves on .028 and it makes for one stout engine. We used to have one like that. A 355 with 13.5:1 pistons. It's the engine that ran 6.71 @ 101 mph in the 1/8th mile that I've talked about before.

Now we always run 12.5:1 pistons in the 406s (aside from the one that I blowed up, lol), and that's what I'd like to get back for it. My uncle has a 406 with around 12.5:1 pistons in his Vega and it runs 4.0hs in the 330. That same engine ran a best of 4.26 in my car, so you can see there's a significant weight difference in the two cars (over 2 tenths in the 330, lol, imagine if that was an 1/8th or even a 1/4 mile). And I've got better heads then what's on his 406, so if I build mine back with 12.5:1 pistons, then it should be even stouter (should be, but you know engines don't always do what we think they should, lol).

Thanks IGovert.
