Question 323 Stroker

Hey guys, new to the scene and just bought my first Silvy, love that truck.

She's in the shop right now getting 4.10's front and rear put in (blew up my differential over the weekend, figured why not throw in a 4.10's while they've got her). I've got 106,000 miles on her and was looking at rebuilding the engine though nothing major is wrong, just like the thought of bringing her back to life, when the thought occured to me: is it possible to stroke a 323? If so I wonder how much bigger it could get? I've heard of strokers and wasn't really clear on what was involved other than more cubic inches=more power. Everything I've found so far doesn't even mention stroking a 5.3L so I was wondering if anyone out there has pursued it.

Eventually would like to see this bitch stroked, blown, juiced and lifted, but she needs a little work first. Something about being able to leave a four wheel patch on the pavement appeals to me. I know, I'm crazy. Or maybe amongst you guys it's normal?
