Synthetic Oil
I'm new to this forum and have not seen any Maxima posts related to using synthetic motor oil.
My wife's 99 Maxima SE has been faithfully serviced at the dealer since inception. It has 85,000 kilometers - about 55,000 miles on the odometer. Since I drive more aggressively and will use it for ski trips (it drops to -20F over here), I'm wondering whether switching to synthetics would be a good idea.
Your collective counsel would be appreciated.
P.S. Love the forum and hope to contribute in the future. I opted to "inherit" the Maxima instead of buying a Volvo S60 Turbo. No regrets thus far!
