Possibility if it applies, haven't spent much time with the newer models yet, but on most vehicles there is a switch that senses the wheels are being turned at a low rpm, then the pcm raises engine idle to keep things smooth. I had this problem with my daily driver (87 buick) with the early version of this switch had massive problems of failure, most of us that got fed up with it found a fix through radio shack parts. Anyway, when that switch failed it caused similar issues and might be worth a try.
Other than that, it would almost have to be a driveline issue and first thing that comes to mind is the differentail. Any problems cornering?
