Check this out...
One day my car was dead. I jumped it off and then it was fine. But then I noticed when I had the a/c on the rpms would drop to about 650 or so and flutuate between 650 and 800. As soon as I turned the ac off it would resume at a steady 800. Then by battery went dead again. So I put two and two together and came up with a new battery. Now my car is cranking up fine... but the rpms at idel are still low...very low... you can feel the weakness when you taking off.
Now the problem is related to the battery.
Could it be the alternator.... my dead wants to say the "Fuel pump".
Please tell me no way fuel pump. I mean does the fuel pump cause the battery to go dead and besides if the fuel pump is going out.. would the low rpm's happen just when I had the a/c on????
