I just did mine yesterday. It took about 15 minutes. Next time it will take just 5 minutes. Yes rust is a porblem. I broke the screw that holds the clamp that goes around the filter. Ended up using a thick plastick tie thing in place of the screw. Next time I am at the junk yard, I will have to find a another bracket.
