That's correct not all 85-87 gts have LSD. Two things how to find out if the GTS have LSD. If you look at the firewall next to the brake booster, there is a plate with banch of letters (start with "J" = (japan) and no#. If there's "L" = LSD or jack up the rear end make sure both wheels are freely, transmission in neutral and rotate the wheels both wheels should turn same directions.
