This is a project I started a couple years ago and just now exhumed in order to finish. It's an R-M kit which i intended to make a mild custom of with Tamiya Gunmetal body, red/black interior and Fujimi 18" OZ Superturismo wheels which definitely beat the stock wheels but (i think) still fit the car.



While giving this old build the once over, i spotted a small depression on the hood. I tried to gently level the paint, but as you can see, it changed the depth of the paint too much--oh well, a hood is easy to respray. The blemish is in the middle-right.

Here i dry-fit the wheels for an idea of the look. I had a heck of a time grinding out the backs of the rims to fit on the R-M uprights!
