You are absolutely right. I gave directions for an AODE transmission. Thats what happens when you read too fast. There is a way to drain the torque convertor in an AOD transmission. I have a 91 Grand Marquis with that transmission in it so I went out today and put it in the air so that I could photograph the drain plug. To get to it (the drain plug) remove the inspection cover on the front of the bell housing and rotate the engine until you see the drain plug in the front of the convertor (see photo
